Great road trip for the Warriors today. 💪🏉
A brilliant afternoon of Welsh rugby at a picturesque location in New Tredegar. Hard tackles, big carries, plenty of tries, and a few injuries. 🤕
New Tredegar started brightly, scoring after just 5 minutes, but that seemed to wake the Warriors up. From there the boys played some excellent heads-up rugby, moving the ball, spotting gaps and making the most of their opportunities.
And despite New Tredegar tackling brilliantly throughout and constantly looking threatening, the Warriors kept finding ways through and backed it up with some solid defence.
Great start back to rugby, and what we hope will be another successful season.

Solid at full back and outstanding when receiving the ball in the air in our own 22. At least four times he gained 40 metres of territory for us, and never went backwards once.
A quiet but influential player, and today was no different. Ran around that pitch putting 100% effort into both defence and attack. Solid tackles driving people back, and always looking to break the gain line.
Shout outs from the coaches. 🍾
His try was pure opportunism, exactly what you want from a scrum half. See the gap, go for it, score the try. Simple. 👌
One or two serious carries, punching the gain line more than once, and a solid anchor in the scrum. ⚓️
Scored a great try and was an absolute terrier around the pitch. 🐕
Some great strong runs, and two tries to show for it. 🥧🥧
A 100% kicking record. Seven from seven off the tee. 👌
For going over to the opposition side when they had too many injuries, and nearly snapping half our own team in half. 😅
Every score, as it happened. Whitchurch first.
